NFL: Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles matchup analysis

Chased of the postseason playoff by Dallas, Philly will look to get back on track saturday in DC, against the struggling Redskins. The Eagles have no more their fate in hand, and they also need teams like Green Bay, Detroit or Dallas to lose one of their last two games, as at 9 and 5, Chip Kelly and his squad are behind these teams.
To win this football game, well Chip Kelly need this offense to create 3rd and short situation, as QB Mark Sanchez really struggled on 3rd and long since he took the place of Foles. And Philly has the guy to create this situation with RB McCoy, who look to bounce back after a bad game against Dallas last Sunday Night. But the Redskins front 7 is pretty good with guys like DE Baker or LOLB Ryan Kerrigan, one of the best of the business. So it’s up to the Eagles WR to be able to convert and reassure Sanchez, and they have a superb opportunity to do that, as Washington defensive backs are bang up, with a lot of big injuries : for exemple CB Hall and Porter, SS Meriweather, all of this players will not be on the field on saturday afternoon. With the 2 best CB out of the Redskins, look for WR Maclin and Matthews to have a big game, and TE Celek will provide from the Brian Orakpo absence. The Eagles really have doubts on the defensive side, but the key will be to countain RB Alfred Morris, and they have the front 7 to do just that, especially with DE Cox or LB Barwin and Kendricks, who is very good against the run. Their backs are a little bit suspect, but RGIII’s problem to find his WR will be an issue for DC.
If Washington wants to have any chances to win this ballgame, they absolutely need to shut
down the Eagles running game to force Sanchez to throw the ball on 3rd down, as the USC product is known to have big mistakes on this situations. Alfred Morris will have to be superb, as he’s the most dangerous guy on the Redskins offensive squad, and they need him to hold the ball and create 3rd and short action. QB Griffin III looked not so bad against the Giants last week, and if he has the ability to run he could be dangerous. WR Jackson will play against his former team and he would be very motivate to show his skills. But Washington has too much injury in their D to contain Chip Kelly offense, especially against the pass, a part of the game where Philly is good with a guy like Jeremy Maclin.
Im taking the Philadelphia Eagles to win this football game, as this is a must win game for them to stay in the hunt for a playoff berth. Washington issues on D and at the QB position are too much to hold one of the best team in the NFC. I go with WR Maclin as the MVP because I think he will torched the Redskins defensive backs, defensive backs who are normally backups. The X Factor will absolutely be RB Alfred Morris, because DC needs him to run a lot and to create 3rd and short situation for Robert Griffin III, who crossed this season like a ghost after splashing into the scene in 2012.
