1st round: a very interlocutory one, with both fighter who has been so much attend to study each other especially Machida waited that was Romero the first to attack to try to counterattack him with his karate techniques. The last minute of it has been a lil bit more intense with some exchanges that didn't see anyone gets the better of the other.
2nd round: spectacular round between the two fighter, both of them tried to hit more and the result has been a fired up Romero who chased all around Machida who has been hit hard to the jaw by some punches, at the end of the round the soldier of god tried an awesome KO flying punch in a showtime's style to finish his rivals but the dragon was ready and the bell saved him.
3rd round: Machida has been signed by the heavy hits of his rival and in the third round Romero made an explosive KO bringing down the dragon and finishing him i the half guard with heavy elbow hits that left visible damage on the face of the brazilian fighter.
Considerations: I think Machida returned into the right too early after a bad loss to Rockhold and he seemed tired and poor of offensive ideas, his tries to counterattack his rival failed so its arsenal has been limited so much. Romero got his 5th KO in the UFC and his 6th straight wins who let him become a legitimate contender to the Weidman's title.
