Atlanta Braves 2017 season's recap and probable future moves

The Braves had started the 2017 season with the only goal of not getting the final in NL East but now after 100 games and a record of 48-52 with a balanced course of home matches and moving the goal of the second Wildcard even if far enough away May not be so utopian. The partial success of the Braves derives from a clear but risky management choice, to try to invest in a group of veterans considered now over by other teams or players who have not been able to express their potential to complete a young man. Among the bets won by the Braves are certainly Matt Adams, Tyler Flower and Brandon Phillips; The least successful ones are Bartolo Colon, Jaime Garcia, R.A. Dickey and Jimmy Johnson. These bets are the key to reading the Atlanta season, the batters are the ones that are not last in the division while the pitchers are the one they do not have a positive record. The position players are doing a great job both in the pot and in the defense led by a great Freddie Freeman and a reborn Matt Kemp, the only note that for now is negative is the return performance of the rookie shortstop Dansby Swanson beating .213 But it's not a big deal since the team has a very good average of .261 battling though it snoops a bit of power since the total number of homerun is only 106. The battery of the guys who has a very high middle age also turns out to be Poorly counting that the only pitcher who has a ERA under 4 is Foltynewicz, Julio Tehran who was supposed to be the number one leader was unable to keep enough performance and the change-up that is his best launch was Easily tapped in view of the poor command in particular on fastball. The bullpen did not behave better with first Johnson closer to being far away from his best days when he was in the Orioles as he converted only 22 of the 29 salon opportunities in the season. The sums are cumbersome for a launching department where the company will have to invest not before the deadline but in the offseason as a 4.61 ERA with 130 homerun granted is unacceptable if you have postseason ambitions.
The Braves within the trade deadline will not make the mistake of becoming sellers with regard to their precious prices, at most they will be able to sell veterans like Phillips, Dickey and Johnson to try to add some good prospect for the launch pad. Also if i would be the Braves i would be open for a trade for Tehran but only if the offer would be good and i think it will come due to the numbers of teams who are looking forward for a starter for their postseason run.
The best thing for Atlanta now is to have patience and think about the future while enjoying a decent present by trying to build a good rotation to be able to compete for the playoffs, although for their fans it will be hard to get used to pitchers of the likes of Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz.
