NBA Finals game 4: Cleveland Cavs 103 GS Warriors 82 recap and analysis

With a small ball option to start the game, GSW took an early 7-0 run to start the game, as Steve Kerr was forced to take an early timeout. Iguodala and Curry drained some outside shots, but King James fought back and scored inside, along with Mozgov and Thompson. The quickness and the good outside shots selection was too hard to handle for the Cavs, as they trailed after 12min for the 1st time in the series. King James seemed really nervous and tired, as he’s forced to play a lot and he took also a bad shot on a flop after a foul by C Bogut. The lead was high as 15 for the Warriors, as James was well covered by Iguodala and Green, who had 13 after one half.
Matthew Dellavedova, the australian fighter started the 3rd very well with 2 outside buckets, as Shumpert was great on defense on Curry. Golden State was not in anymore and they were dominate inside, as C Mozgov was a beast down low. King James took the game by himself and start to create for his teammates, especially his big mens. With James on the bench, the Western champs took advantage with their « Splash Brothers », as they were the leaders of a run who make this game a 10pt deficit for the home team. Up by 17 with 4min to go, the two bench were on the floor to finish the game, as the Warriors tied this Finals at 2.
My MVP goes to Iguodala, who was great both on defense on James and on offense, with 22pts. The bad outside success for Cleveland was a key (4/27 from 3 for the Cavs), but the system made in place by Kerr needs to be mentioned, as his small lineup was the key to handle LeBron James and run the ball to create easy shots. Game 5 is sunday night in San Francisco.
