The 9ers started with the ball and they've been effective with inside runs 1 by Hyde and the other by Gore to arrive in Seahawks territory but a very good Seattle's defense denied them to score with a 3rd down sack by ROLB KJ Wright who forced Lee to came on the field to punt the ball. Seattle didn't produce anything on their 1st possession but on the 2nd one they've been able to move the ball down the field 'til the FG range due to short passes and also with 2 tough personal fouls on FS Reid, once they arrived in Fg range they have been slow own by a goo pressure from SF's defense and that forced Haushka to came on the field to kick the 1st 3 points of the game. SF answered them with a very good balanced drive alternating inside runs and short / medium passes, they arrivedin Seattle's redzone in a 4th and 1 situation, they converted it with another inside run with Gore who read well the great blocks and finished in the endzone for the 1st TD of the game.
Wilson took his team on his shoulders and drove his team with a 50 yards pass for WR Kearse who made a very good catch on SF 40 yards but multiple silly penalties they haven't been able to score any points and they punted the ball to the 9ers. Thanks to their defense the Seahawks had the last chance of the 1st half to score and they arrived on FG due to a Wilson's best quality (extended the plays) but his worst one (to force and make bad decisions) nullified their try with FS Reid who picked Wilson off and tried to score a TD with no time left but the Seahawks player stop him short.
The 2nd half starte with 10 minutes of defensive dominance by both after that Seattle offense has been effective for the 1st time in the game running the ball, they did that with Lynch who provided the awesome power that he always provide and he score the Seahawks' 1st TD of the game on a inside run after a very good cut-back. The Seahawks took advantage of a short field on their next drive and they gained the 10 points lead with a receiving TD by WR Richardson who caught a Wilson's strike and along with their awesome defense who didn't give up any other points they ended the 9ers hope to reach postseason and at the same time they kept alive the chances to get the division title.
On the 9ers i think that they played a good game despite all the important injuries they got and if they won't be in the postseason it's not because of this loss but for all the games they wasted in a shameful way earlier with very beatable teams especially at home, coach Harbough has his resposibilities but don't say it's all his fault i still think he is an elite coach and this year yes he made ba decisions but it's not his fault all they injuries they had and the dumb stuffs that his players done outside the grass to be suspended. I still think this is a very good team a even with all this problems they should be easly in the playoffs just avoiding stupid mistakes like lose a fumble at home vs the Rams on a yard away from win that key game and so on...
The Seahawks are the efending SB champions and they are playing like that kind of team, with the entire defense healty the can be a very difficult opponent even counting if they will get the 1st seed (something i think it wil happen), they have just to get better in passing offense providing more targets than Baldwin to be less predictable and WR Kearse shown that he can take some responsibilities.
The MVP of this game is the entire Legion of Boom (Seattle's secoundary) who played an awesome game to shutdown completely the 9ers passing game.
