NFL: Dallas Cowboys 42 Indianapolis Colts 7 recap and analysis

The Cowboys stroke first even due to a silly unsportsmanlike penalty that kept alive the Cowboys drive alive after a failed 3rd down conversion, after that Murray struggled a lil bit and Romo took the control of the drive delivering a very precise ball to WR williams on a post route for the 1st TD of the game. The Cowboys defense forced Luck to a 3 and out, the Colts tried a fake punt passing the ball with McAfee who has been precise but the receiver failed and easy catch gifting the ball to Romo who delivered another strike this time to Bryant on a fly route 1 on 1 outside to his 1st receiving TD of the game. Indy continued to struggle on offense and it resulted in another 3 and out. The fired up Romo made them pay passing another TD this time to the slot receiver Beasley who made 2 tacklers miss and reached in the endzone easly. The 4th straight 3 and out of the Colts and the Cowboys punished them again this time a more balanced drive then the precedents ones, Romo came close to score his 4th TD of the half but Witten has been stopped short 2 yards by the endzone so Murray got the following dive run on an I formation following the FB to score his 1st TD of the game. The Cowboys started the 2nd half with the ball ahead by 28 points and they reached the FG range where K Bailey missed a 56 yards try. The Colts continued to struggle on offense and the result in another scoreless drive. Romo beat Aikman all time passing yards record by a Cowboy passing his 4th TD of the game this time to TE Witten on a vertical seem to close the game out in favour of his team.
The Colts never entered into the game, this has been a complete failure, they usually struggle against playoffs' team and the trend continued in Dallas. Andrew Luck will need to bounce back from what is probably the hardest loss of his career but he needs to know that it's not only his fault because his receiveres dropped to many ball and the Cowboys defense played a very good game overall shown an huge improvement against the number 1 ranked passing offense in the NFL after big problems in early games. The Colts running game proved that it's not a playoffs 1 and this made them so predictable for the Dallas defense who knew that the majority of the plays would be passes. On the other side Tony Romo played probably 1 of the best game of his career shuting down all haters along with all their critics, he dominated the game since the 1st snap driving his team all the way to the win that finally gave them a postseason's spot and he did that with great accurancy, right decisions and a big variety of targets that he alternated all game long to be unpredictable. Murray played a game with his hearth keep fighting thru a hand surgery to repair his fractured right hand made just 6 days ago, he did not just play, he provided a reliable alternative to Romo's passes especially with his inside powerful runs. The Cowboys fans are probably dreaming about what this team can do and if their defense will continue to play close to this standards and the Romination will provide this kind of numbers everything will be possible for them. the MVP of this game in Romo who has been perfect in every aspect of the game something we never see in this period of the season in his career especially at home hwere he struggled most.
