NFL: Buffalo Bills 21 Green Bay Packers 13 recap and analysis

After the 1st 10 minutes of the game scoreless characteryzed by a domination of both defense Crosby scored the game 1st 3 points after a balanced drive where Nelson missed a catch on 3rd down that could extend the drive and give more to them. The answer by Buffalo arrived with their STs who returned a bad punt by Mashtay to the endzone with Thigpen  for over 80 yards to get the lead. Packers reaction came from Lacy who has been impressive in that drive with 3 straight powerful runs that resulted in good gaines, Cobb fell a lil bit short of TD and Lacy provided to bring the ball in the endzone. The Bills tried to answer back and to do that they went to Watkins who made a very good catch to move the ball in Packers territory  but they haven't been to score a TD so they tied the game with a FG. The Packers arrived on FG range but Bills ST stop a 53 yards FG attempt by Crosby to start their next drive on a very good field position. Packers defense gave their offense another chance to score picking off Orton who tried to pass To Watkins on a fade route but Williams read it and stayed with him. The defenses finished the 1st half strong keeping the game tie at 10. The bills started the 2nd half with a griund and pound offense riding Jackson and it produced 3 points with a Carpenter's FG. They done the same on their 2 following drive with the same identical result. Rodgers tried to re-gain the lead of the game and he seemed like he could do it but once they arrived on the Bills' redzone they have been blocked by a very good Buffalo's defense who shut down the Rodgers' passing game with both pressure and coverage at a very high level so K Mason Crosby has been forced to kick a FG to get back just by 1 possession. The Packs defense stopped the Bills without giving up any points and due to that Rodgers & Co. had a chance to win the game with a TD. GB's offense goot the ball on their own 10 yard line due to a very good punt by Schmidt, Mario Williams sacked Rodgers and made him fumble the ball then recovered by RB Lacy on their own 3 yards to safe a game ending change of possession or a safety but Lacy effort resulted unuseful when the same Lacy has been tackle in the endzone for a safety who ended the game.
The Packers at Lambeau Field are unstoppable especially on offense but the story is totally different when they play away from it, Rodgers ended the game with a 34.3 QB rating (lowest of his career) but it's not only his fault because his most reliable Nelson missed 4 easy catch and 2 of them should be taken in the endzone. The Packs defense played an average game against the goo but nothing more Bills offense.
The Bills Offense needs to improve so much on passing game drafting a better QB than Orton but he has been good to manage the game an let the brilliant Fred Jackson run all over the GB's defense. On defense they proved that they are a playoffs kind of defense very good in every department especially on their front 7 lead by the Williams' duo.
The MVP on this game is the all Bills' defense who made an outstanding job to stop argubly the best offense in the league with a great group performance.
