NHL Winter Classic 2016: Boston Bruins 1 Montreal Canadiens 5 recap and analysis

Flashing start of the 2016 Winter Classic for the visitor who came in Foxboro to win to get back on track after a difficult period, Desharnais stroke with less than 2 minutes played in the game right after a face-off in the offensive zone, the Halos continued to have the control of the game with a very aggressive and efficient forecheck that made difficult bring the puck in the offensive zone for the home team, the biggest chance for the Canadiens came from medium distance shot rebounded and traffic in front of Rask, that's how arrived the second goal with Byron of the visitors after 2 minutes from the start of the second period. The Canadiens' domination in this period took off and continue to dominate their rivals in the same way they did in the previous period and they scored even in the third goal at the end of it with Gallagher who tapped in the puck a Pacioretty's shot that has been initiated by a blue line turnover by the Bruins, they came close to score their first goal of the game with a goal crease wrist shot by Spooner greatly stopped by Condon. Sweet Caroline seemed to give the charge to Boston who returned on ice very aggressive and with the will to comeback and seemed that they should do it when Beleskey scored from the blue line with a snap shot but unfortunately Chara lost a puck in the offensive zone and Pacioretty punished them with the fourth Halos' goal that ended the Boston's comeback chances, deep in the garbage time Montreal scored even their fifth goal of the game against with Byron.

MY 3 stars of the game
