After both teams went 3 and out the Cardinals put up a very good balanced drive with an high variety of plays that brought them inside the Packers' redzone where Johnson converted a 4th and 1 with a pitch run on the weak side that opened up the TD pass Palmer to Floyd in the back of the end zone who made an outstanding catch in matter of coordination and skills running an out route in the right back corner of the end zone. Rodgers lead the charge all by himself with not just precise passes to his TE and few even to his WRs but also scrambling out of the pocket beating the Cardinals defense when the sent just 4 pass rushers with his legs, once in the redzone Peterson picked him off and returned the football for 100 yards for a TD but a silly penalty on DT Rucker gave Rodgers another chances but the Cardinals defense limited him to just a FG. At the end of the second quarter the visitors made another good drive and this time Rodgers involved his WRs more even if Cobb continues to be sidelined due to an injury, Janis and Abbrederis stepped up and made some good catches especially on short and medium range passes to beat Bethel on the right side (the weak side counting that Peterson played on the opposite one), Green Bay arrived in FG range where Crosby made a short try.
The second half started with the boom for the Cardinals thanks to their defense who picked Rodgers off after a deflection by Campbell that slowed the ball don and let FS Rashad Johnson intercept it around midfield. Green Bay answered back with another interception, this time has been Clinton-Dix who helped the CB over the top against Floyd on a deep seem. Lacy 61 yards run sent his team inside the Cardinals' redzone where Rodgers on a 3rd down found janis in the end zone scrambling on his right for their first TD of the night. The Cardinals went to Fitzgerald aligned outside ti get back on track and they partially did but once close to the goaline they committed a silly personal foul for bid side blocking and they came out of it with just 3 points. The Cardinals put up a crazy drive all by passes where the word crazy means "how da hell he received it?!?!?!" because they converted three 3rd and long targeting th most difficult receiver and once close to the end zone Palmer made an unprecise pass that has been deflected high in the end zone by Randle ad received by Floyd for his second TD of the game to give his team a 4 points lead. Green Bay tried to convert a 4th and 5 on their own 20 yards but they failed so they gifted 3 points that came from a Catanzaro's FG to the home team. Rodgers made a miracle once against after week 13 in Detroit he delivered another jewelry to the end zone to WR Janis, an insane pass falling away on his left for over 40 yards to send it to the overtime.
Arizona won the coins toss and decided to start the OT with the possession of the ball and on the very first play Palmer extended the play with a spin move and found Fitzgerald open on a crossing route and he has been able to reach the Packers 5 yard line where Fitzgerald score on a showel pass from Palmer on a great designed play to win a fantastic game.
