NFL. New Orleans Saints 24 SF 49ers 27 OT recap

It was a must winning game for the 49ers that were coming from a bad loss at home against the Rams exactly the opposite of the Saints who got a great win at home against Rodgers and the Packers.
SF started as everyone expected with run the ball in the toughest way they did in last weeks and they scored a running TD with Frank Gore on an outside run, running game has been great and they got another TD, this time with Carlos Hyde on a sweep for a 14-0 SF lead. Saints reaction didn't wait long time and after a slow start Brees got on pace with his receivers and he founded with a great precise throw the rookie Cooks on a deep slot route for the 1st 7 points for the Saints.
The 9ers didn't give up anything after the Saints' TD and the increased their lead with an Anquan Boldin TD who used his great physical skills to have the best of a good Physical CB like Keenan Lewis.
SF finished the 1st half in a great way but they haven't been able to do the same in the 2nd half, and NO took an advantage of that with 2 TD of the healty Jimmy Graham, offensive struggles for SF affected even their defense that had to stay more time on the field and they haven't been able to be brilliant as they were in the 1st half.
With less then 2 minutes to play SF trailed 24-21 and on a 4th and long Kaepernick found a great throw down the field to find Crabtree right on Saints' 35 for an over 40 yard completion, Dawson tied the game with a FG. Brees had few seconds and from midefield he threw a hail mary pass resulted in a TD for Graham but vanified by a pass interference of Graham on Parrish Cox.
The game went to the over time and both teams wasted  the 1st opportunity to score and the 2nd possession of NO had a bad result finshed with a forced fumble by Ahmad Brooks that with the absence of Aldon Smith played ROLB role, the fumble recovered by 9ers defense lead Dawson's winning FG that ended a beautiful game.
Both teams played great but for certain parts of the game and they alternated themself in doing that, Boldin played a very good game that should be a perfect one without key drop balls, SF's defense has shown good improvements but the key part of their success in this game and in all Jim Harbaugh era has been the running game, the stats are clear when they run over 100 yards or 150 yards are nearly unstoppable. Saints need to improve on WR's core especially they need back Marcus Colston who is having a bad season and lot of drop balls.
