Seattle started the game 3 and out in a bad way, KC got their 1st possession offensively and they drove the ball down the field right to the TD scored by RB Jamal Charles with shuffle pass from QB Alex Smith and this has been the 1st TD allowed in the opening drive by Seahawks' defense since 2012.
Marshawn Lynch in a complete beast mode lead the Seahawks drive finalyzed by WR Doug Baldwin who received a pass by Wilson during a scramble. Jamal Charles continues his assault to Seattle's defense with explosive run even thanks to a complete domination by the Chiefs' o-line over Seattle's front 7/8 if you count Chancellor who plays like a LB, again Charles finalyzed the drive 16 yards rushing TD. Seattle tried to answer with a TD but they fell short due to a bad decision by Wilson to pass on 3rd down into the KC 10 yards to WR Richardson short to the end zone on a slant route and they just came out with a FG.
The 2nd half seemed to be different with a Seahawks' defense forced and recovered a fumble with a great tackle on TE TravisKelce but again their offense has been stopped by a very disciplinated KC's defense who forced Haushka. The Chiefs had a big kick off return that ended with a brawl and at the end of it the referees decided to ejected Ricardo Lockett for unecessary roughness. Seahawks defense use their frustration in the right way and they forced another fumble this time Jamal Charles lost the ball thanks to the aggressiveness who characteryzed this defense an all Pete Carroll era.
Marshawn Lynch simply unstoppable marched down the field till Wilson throw a beautiful play action TD pass to former Chiefs TE Tony Moeaki. Beast mode's runs tired the Chiefs defense out and made Wilson able to run for all 4th quarter something that he wasn't able to do before.
Max Unger injury limited so much the Seattle's offense that under by 4 point refused to kick an easy FG to try to convert a 4th down but they missed it throwing a bad pass on a Baldwin's fade; Seattle had another chance on 4th down the following drive but a 4th down but they missed it trying a Lynch's draw right in the middle, then KC defense closed the game out with great passrushing.
If the Seahawks need to let Lynch run more and Wilson pass less because this team has been build to play like that without Wilson passing so much inside the pocket but contract problems with Lynch i think changed the dynimics of the team and now they struggle to win games against playoffs contenders. The Chiefs are one of the hottest team in the NFL and with a great Jamal Charles and a tough defense (3rd against the pass and without allowed a rushing TD all season long) they are angerous to everyone especially at home.
