NFL: Green Bay Packers 53 Philadelphia Eagles 20 recap

America's game of the week between 2 of the hottest teams in the NFL face to face in a sold out Lambeau Field. The Eagles travelled to GB with a very good offense even without starting QB Nick Foles well replaced by Mark Sanchez, their defense hasn't been great if we talk about points allowed but so great if we count the turnovers forced and the TDs scored. The Packers came into the game with a explosive offense with an awesome Aaron Rodgers who lead his offense to the destruction of the Chicago Bears last week along with a very improved defense from the 1st weeks of the season.
This game has been characteryzed  by Packers' big plays right from the beginning, Nelson open up the series of big plays beating Bradley Flatcher on a fly route outside. Eagles' inability to run the football had a big impact on the game because force a QB like Sanchez to pass more than he wanted and in a way more difficult situations than he usually does and the result was a complete desaster allowing sacks, making bad decisions and producing turnovers like the interception he threw right on the hand of a very very good Julius Peppers who is fittin great in a LB role after a career played as a RE on a 4-3 defense, He was able to return it into the endzone with a strong run. Coach Kelly tried to change the strategies for both offense and defense, on offense he tried to let McCoy be an active part of the offense targeting him with passes outside and screen passes, on defense he tried the zone coverage. Both of those choices has been able to put Phila back in the game, Rodgers literally killed the zone defense with a great alternation of short and long passes. The game was already finished but the Packers shown no mercy for a completely lost Eagles team and Eddie Lacy stepped up with a huge 2nd half in both passing and rushing situations, he scored a monster kind of TD breaking 5 straight tackles after he received a pass by Rodgers,
The result of this game doesn't prove that the Eagles are not a playoffs team but that the Packers especialy at home are simply too good for lot of teams right now, Rodgers is the hottest QB in the NFL right now and seems that none can stop him thanks to the return of both guards and to his great ability to make always the right decision alternating all 3 the tools a QB can have (short passes, long passes and scrambling out of the pocket for good results when the pocket collapse). The Eagles miss Foles ability to take them out of bad situations but i don't think he would be able to win this game because the o-line didn't play well and never able to open up a gap to let McCoy be effective. I think at the end of the season both team should face each other in the playoffs.
