Japan all star series : Japan 2 MLB 0

The MLB stars went to Osaka Japan to play game 1 against the Japanese all star team, even if this series is a friendly one, the japanese team's approach has been so aggressive rightfrom the beginning, exactly the opposite of the MLB rappresentative team who seemed sleepy on the field, this probably happen because they arrived just 3 days ago and with an half day of difference of time that affected so much their performances.
The Starting pitchers for game one have been Maeda for Japanese team who owns an average fastball and change up along with a very good curve-ball, for the MLB team the 2nd ranked in the AL rookie of the year race Matt Shoemacker of the LA Angels.
MLB team started in a convincent way with 2 baserunners aboard but Yasiel Puig continue the bad streak of the end of the season and went K. Great start even for Shoemaker who strike out 3 batters alternating both Fastball and breaking ball.
The 2nd inning has been the one who gave Japanese team the advantage with a sac fly RBI  by Matsuda due to a lead off single and a double even thank to a mistake by the cut-off man but Shoemaker has been able to get out off it just with 1 run allowed.
From that point till 5th inning Maeda dominated the MLB lineup and in the 4th inning the velocity and baserunning gave Japanese Team the 2nd run of the game with a single by Yamada after a Matsuda stolen base. After that the Japanese team put up other 3 starters to close the game out: side arm pitcher Makita for 2 innings then the possible MLB prospect RHP Ohtani and Nishino in the 9th to close the game out with a great double play at 1B by Yamada.
This has been a boring game with just 3 hits for the MLB team who has been so far from their decent standards. Hope to see something different by them in next games, by the way the Japanese team played a very intelligent game to using their best qualities to win game 1.
