NFL: Atlanta Falcons 21 Detroit Lions 22 Live Experience recap

Be in Wembley Stadium in London UK has been an amazing experience, the city was totally full of NFL fans from every team and from everywhere dressing every kind of NFL gear. It has been fun spend time on NFL shop all around the city and especially in stadium area, after a full immersion on NFL shops i went to retire my ticket and lot of candies kindly offer by stub hub stuff at the stub hub point and right from there i began to feel the elettricity of the game and i was so excited to see 2 very good teams live from the first row, it was like a dream even if i already attend to an NFL game but everytime i attend to one of them is so special. I took place at my seat nearly 1 hour before the game started and i enjoined the pre-game workouts by both teams and when the game was going to start i was ready and the atmosphere was awesome, during both national anthems you should feel the greatness of the event and the importance it had for both teams. The game started with an aggressive Falcons team facing the Lions defense that is the best in the NFL. Devonta Freeman scored his 1st NFL TD receiving a Matt Ryan's pass. Despite o line asbences Atlanta started with so much confidence, Detroit had difficulties on offense because of the absence of the 3 TE, Megatron and Reggie Bush, and to aggravete that situation Fairley exit to the game due to a knee injury. Atlanta scored again after a Slay pass interference on White that place the ball on 1 yard and they found TE Pascoe on a play action pass. Ryan already completed to 5 different receivers and this put the Lions in trouble. Funny story about TE Kellen Davis who has been signed on monday before the game and they needed to be sure he had a passport to come and play in London, Rashean Mathis interception return for a TD of 103 yards but it cameback because both teams committed a penalty on that play, 21-0 Falcons after a Steven Jackson untouched TD, 1st good Lions' drive took place at the end of the 1st half, great play by WR Jeremy Ross who executed an hurdle over the defender who tried to tackle him, unfortunatly for the Lions the drive ended with an Alford pick 6 on Stafford. After a disapponting 1st half the Lions haven't been satisfied of it, they didn't find any excuses for the important absences and they came back on the field to win the game. With not so many possible targets Stafford went to Tate so many times with great success and also good balance altrenating it with Bell an Riddick runs, Detroit Started the 2nd half scoring 3 points. Detroit Lions defense improved so much in the 2n half and has been able to stop the Falcons right from the beginning. The game changed completely when Stafford found on a 3rd and 25 Golden Tate for a 59 yards TD. Steven Jackson kept playing great and took off pressure by Matt Ryan who committed an huge mistake passing a ball in a no-men's land and been picked off by Cassius Vaughn who returned it on Atlanta's 7 yard line. The Lions didn't cash in completely even thanks to a great goaline stand by the Falcons defense but Atlanta inability to produce something on offense and extended the drive gave Detroit a chance to cameback the deficit and they cut it with a play-action pass to RB Theo Riddick but they failer the 2 point conversion with a pass to Tate well defended by Trufant. The game seemed to be over when Ryan converted in a 1st down a screen pass to Julio Jones in Lions territory and inside the 2 minutes warning with just 2 timeouts Detroit stop Atlanta and thanks to a silly penalty and an incomplete pass the Lions got the ball back with 1:38 to reach the FG range, they reached it thanks to a great drive by Stafford who moved the ball down the field with inside the numbers passes and even to a silly holding penalty that gave the Lions a better position to kick, Prater initially missed the 43 yards attempt by a delay of the game saved him and gave him a new try from the 48 yard line and with just 4 seconds left he made it and gave the Lions the win in a memorable exciting game.
