The defending champions will host the surprising Carolina Panthers in the divisional of the 2015 playoffs, those 2 teams play a similar kind of football and both have similar kind of QB too, in fact Russell Wilson and Cam Newton are both QB who have the tendency to beat their opponents with their legs more than their arms. Panthers' keys to attacks the Seahawks defense will be their running game and all the situation that it can open up like play actions, screens, etc. To do that the double trouble have to provide a double dimensional offense, their running game will be the major factor to keep the very good pass rushing Seahawks' group away from Newton, they also need to avoid 3rd and long situation because the press coverage outside on WRs combined with the front 7 pass rush will not give so many chances to them. On defense they must limit Lynch powerful runs and force Wilson to invent something in the pocket on long situations to convert and to do that they will need a LB who will spy him all game long to prevent his scrambles, their secondary will not have so much to be worried about due to the inconsistence of the Seattle's receiving core but especially the 2 safety will need to help the front 7 to stop beast mode runs because to stop him it's requested a group effort.
The Seahawks o-line will need to play very well because they will face the so much improved Panthers' front 7 lead by the RE Charles Johnson who is awesome against both runs and passes, if they will be able to open up holes for Lynch especially in gap 1 & 2 and also on the 2nd level to block Kuechly he will do serious damages to the Carolina's defense, it will help even Wilson to play his kind of football, i think that he also can pass more than he usually does due to the unexpert Panthers' secondary and the best way to attack them is with play actions and bootlegs. On defense they absolutely need to put pressure on Newton from the beginning and to do that the best way is to play a 4-4 defense with Chancellor so close to the LBs to spy Newton (he's perfect to do that due to his size and speed combo) and let the fast Wagner to cover Olsen leaving Sherman and Maxwell 1 on 1 outside against Benjamin and Cotchery (matchups that both can handle).
My final result prediction is: Seahawks 25 Panthers 13 with Lynch MVP and Neton as the X-factor who can change the game.
