NFL: Green Bay Packers 26 Dallas Cowboys 21 recap and analysis

The Packers stroke 1st with a 3rd down receiving TD in the back of the end zone by TE Quarless after a drive completely dominated by Lacy with his ground and pound. The Cowboys reacted quickly with a very balanced drive full of short plays with good gaining once they arrived on GB 1 yard line the FB Clutts received the ball on a flat route and took it in the end zone untouched to tie the game at 7. GB founded a better Dallas defense on the following drive especially against the runs but either way the arrived in FG but once there they turnovered the ball due to an anticipated snap by the Center who put Rodgers in a very bad situation where he fumbles the ball on a sack and Mincey came out with the pigskin. Dallas punished GB for their mistake scoring a TD with Williams who received a short pass and due to poor tackling he has been able to run down field and score the game ahead TD. Dallas seemed to have the last chance of the 1st half when Romo lead his team right to the FG range, once there the Packs defense made a key stop and forced K Bailey to came on the field to kick a FG but unfortunately for them the Packers special team blocked it to give their offense a good field position to Rodgers & Co. to start their drive, with 1:30 left in the clock Rodgers made a completion to Cobb that took them in the FG range where Crosby kicked a good 1 to end the 1st half.
The 2nd half ended in a such a bad way for the Cowboys because Murray fumbled on their own territory, fortunately for them their defense cameout big and limited the Packers to just a FG. Dallas didn't stop running the football and on the very next drive they marched down the field alternating Romo safe passes to Murray explosive runs and it has been 1 of those runs that took the ball across the goaline to go ahead by 8 points. Trailing by 8 the Packers marched down field with a lot of passes especially short ones outside the numbers  on curl and comeback routes, once they arrived at Dallas 46 yard line they made another of them to WR Adams who made Church miss the tackle and score a very important TD for his team. The Cowboys struggled on offense gave the chance to the Packs to go ahead and they took advantage of it with another great drive ended with TE Rodgers who caught a gutsy pass by Rodgers in a tight window between 2 Cowboys defenders in the back of the end zone. The Cowboys had their chance to win the game but on a 4th down conversion apparently caught on the Packs 1 yard line but finally reversed due to the McCarthy challenge (1st challenge won by the Packs this season). Finally Rodgers close the game out with a 3rd down pass to Cobb who made a controversial reception tp end up the Cowboys chance.
Dallas played a good game, they paid the mistakes like the blocked FG and the Murray's fumble, a part of that Romo played a very good game in my opinion and also unpredictable because he targeted nearly every receiver he had, very good game too even for Witten who has been a great weapon to attack the inside part of the Packs defense, on defense if we don't count the 1st drive the front 7 has been outstanding to both stop the runs and put pressure on Rodgers, by the way they need to fix great problems on their secondary who has not been continuous all game long.
Green Bay fought all game long with a Rodgers injury that precluded him to scramble out of the pocket but even like a pure pocket passer he made serious damage to the Cowboys defense, especially on 2nd half he has been outstanding even due to the great performance by WR Cobb. On defense the choice to put Matthews in the MLB spot helped them to limit the damages that Murray should do and along with a secondary who has been remarkable especially on Dez Bryant who has been covered by a well designed double coverage all game long.
Unfortunately this great game has been partially ruined by a bad call by the refs on the Dez Bryant 's reception that should change the final result, i think that it was a good reception because i didn't lose the control of the football during the process and even when i bubbled it he was inbound but the refs thought differently because they said he didn't have the complete possession of the ball when he fell on the ground.
