I see lot of similiarities between those 2 teams on offense, both teams have mobile QBs, powerful HBs and a very efficient o-line but i 'm sure they won't have a similar gameplan because the defenses have differtent strenghts and weakness. The Cowboys offensively must attack the light nickle 2-4-5 that they use as their favorite 1 with powerful runs and force Matthews to play MLB and this will take away lot of pressure to Romo, the Cowboys QB will need to be so careful to pass the ball outside the numbers due to the very fast and opportunistic Packers defense, in my opinion the best way to attack them will be use the physical skills of their best receivers because everyone of them will have a very good advantage in terms of inches and pounds so it will be a perfect scenario for short passes on curl routes, corssing routes, slants and comebacks. On defense they need absolutely a good coverage down the field especially by Carr who needs to improve again to take his defense to another level, they also can't do the mistake to spread their defense to much because Lacy would kill them with his pounds on draws and screens, they played so good against the Lions in the 2nd half defensively and they have to repeat that performance even this week but they can't forget that Rodgers can scramble so a good idea should be spy him on 3rd down situations to avoid he gets easy conversions with his legs.
The Packers offensively have to attack the Cowboys secondary from the beginning using Lacy just on "the spaces left" by their passing game, the zone where they would have more chances to punish Dallas will be outside the numbers bith short and deep because the 4-3 Cwoboys defense is usually well covered inside and the Packs don't have that kind of TE who can attack this kinds of defense that's why double moves, sluggos and every back shoulder catch situation will be so effective due to the lack of speed in both safeties and even to the lack of confidence that they CBs accumulated during the season. On defense they have 2 choices, 1st put Matthews as MLB to stop Murray's runs or renunce to Hyde as their nickle back/ Safety to put another d-lineman to play a pure 3-4 defense and leave Peppers along with Matthews on pass rush, either way the key is stop or limit their running game to force Romo to pass the ball in 3rd and long situations to give a great chance to their very good pass rushing core to get him. Another thing i wll do will be double Dez down field and prefer to be beat by Terrence Williams 1 on 1 on the other side.
My prediction for the final result is: Packers 38 Cowboys 41 with Murray as the MVP and Matthews as the x-factor who could change the game, this will be an awesome game in my opinion and hard fought til the end.
