NFL: Denver Broncos vs Indianapolis Colts matchup analysis

Back to the past game for Manning who will face at Sports' Authority Field his former team who is now lead by Luck, this will be a very interesting matchup not only for the access to the AFC Championship game but also because 2 of the best QBs in the NFL will go face to face with a lot of  secondary meanings. After a good performance against the Bengals offense they will need to do another improvement to limit the Broncos offense, the main 1 will requested on the front 7 that will need to put pressure on Manning without the use of massive blitzes and also they will need to stop at the beginning the CJ Anderson's runs to avoid to let him go on the second level, something that will hurt the Colts secondary due to his quickness and the physical skills that make him so hard to tackle in open field. On secondary there aren't so many things that they can do against the amazing Broncos receiving core they only can alternate man and zone coverages to try make Manning think a lil bit more to give more time to the pass rushers to get him. On offense they need to don't give up on running game even if they will play against 1 of the best defenses against the runs in the entire NFL, i think the best way to attack them on the ground is to attack them on the edge where Ware and Miller are more committed against the passing game and so to avoid the inside part of the Denver's defense lead by DT Knighton. 

The Broncos have an huge advantage to play at home at mile high field, in fact in case of issues to attack the Colts defense Manning should use his no-huddle high pace kind of offense to have success over them, i think the best formation to be effective against the Colts defense will be the shotgun spread formation that will force Indianapolis to play lighter especially inside and this will leave them uncovered on Anderson's draws and i don't think that even with a nickel or dime formation they can stop Manning and his receivers especially because they have none to cover Julius Jones and this should be produce a disaster for them. On defense the Broncos will need to be aware of Hilton especially on deep routes and i think a good way to stop him is to put Talib on him with a pressure coverage using his size advantage at the line of screemage to destroy his timing with Luck, another great way to stop Luck is blitzing him especially with the best combo in the NFL made by Ware and Miller who along with SS Ward should create lot of difficulties.

My prediction for the final result is: Broncos 42 Colts 24 with Manning as the MVP and HB Boom Herron as the x-factor who could change the game.
