NFL International Series: Jacksonville Jaguars 34 Buffalo Bills 31 recap and analysis

The 13th game in the history of the NFL international series saw face to face the Jaguars and the Bills, who played without Taylor, Kyle Williams, Harvin and Watkins.
In the first quarter Buffalo played the best football conceding nothing on defense but unable to close their drive to the end zone due to a lack of power in HB position and also to the inaccuracy of Manuel's passes. The game changed at the beginning of the second quarter when the Bills' QB committed 3 mistakes exactly a fumble and 2 bad passes resulted in 2 interceptions and in 27 straight Jaguars' points, since that moment the Bills started the hard comeback that has been completed with less than 6 minutes left in the game going ahead by 4, Jacksonville got the ball and the chance to regain the lead, they took it moving the ball down field exceptionally well something that didn't do all game long, they did it on the air especially passing to their 2 best WRs Hurns and Robinson, it has been the number 88 of the Jags who scored a beautiful diving receiving TD to give his team the lead with less than 3 minutes to play in the game. Manuel had in his hands the chance to at least tied it but he failed badly, it hasn't been only his fault but i my opinion poor execution and play calling by the coaching stuffs.

The Bills shown their lack in QB position and i don't think it's just for the absence of Taylor because him and Manuel are the same kind of QB and with them they commit too many mistakes in both precision and decision making, also they need a powerful HB to be dangerous between the tackles because McCoy is great on receiving and speed runs but he's too light to run between the tackles. On defense i saw a very beatable secondary especially on short passes and i expected a way more from players like Mario Williams and Jerry Hughes.

The Jags defense played a good all around game counting that their offense didn't provide a good support to them being unable to extend their drives, also the defense has been the main reason of their 27 straight points. Bortles shown his potential in his last drive after a mediocre game where he never try to go deep and also where hehe didn't target his TEs enough. Their running game has been disappointing on the goaline but efficient on the other aspect of the game with a brilliant Yeldon.

MVP: Hurns
