Formula 1: GP Suzuka 2016 considerations and thoughts

GP Suzuka - Formula 1

Ferrari, 2017 will be another time the “Year Zero”?
Sixteen years ago Suzuka was the scene of the miracle of a German driver dressed in red who managed to win the world title 21 years after the last time.
This Sunday another German driver, but in a grey suit, winning the Japanese Gp has hypothecate the final victory of the championship thanks to his lead of 33 points over the closest rival with four races remaining.
Actually Micheal Schumacher has very little in common with the current leader Nico Rosberg, but only the memories of that period will cause a great nostalgia in all Ferrari's fans, which have to live together with a difficult situation as regards the results, since the last triumph dates back almost 10 years ago.
In fact, after Kimi Raikkonen no one has been able to win a world title with the Maranello's car, despite drivers who have tried were great champions as Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel.
This suggest that the problem is not due to the guide but rather to the team, which has expressed various types of mistakes too many times.
Just during Grand Prix of Suzuka Ferrari had two problems that have complicated the race: the first of mechanical nature with a broken gearbox on Kimi's car (and it is already the fifth time this year) and the second of strategical nature with a delayed pit-stop that did not allow Vettel to get on the podium; unfortunately it is not the first time that is taken a wrong decision on the race strategy, as surely Alonso will remember since in 2010 he lost the title for this reason.
So, after another disappointing year, the season 2017  looks full of expectations but only a radical change of course will allow Ferrari to return to the glories of the past, when “The Kaiser” Schumacher was pratically unbeatable.
