Formula 1: GP Sepang 2016 recap and analysis

GP Sepang - Formula 1

NICO, NOW OR NEVER!
The Japanese GP is just around the corner but in the minds of all fans the show of last Sunday in Sepang has not exhausted; from the crash at the start caused by Sebastian Vettel to the engine failure happened to the race leader Lewis Hamilton, the Malaysian Grand Prix has not certainly betray the expectations.
From all that Nico Rosberg has come out winner since he has managed to increase his lead in the world ranking from 8 to 23 points. Indeed after the first corner his race could already be finished considering that Vettel had hit his Mercedes n° 6 with a reckless maneuver forcing him to a comeback from last position to the final third place.
Perhaps the fact of being able to restart undamaged after the clash with the Ferrari was the first signal of a Sunday blessed by fortune for Rosberg; in fact from then everything is shot in his favor.
Not even a novelist could write a more cruel final race for Hamilton who was starting to win easily a Grand Prix dominated from start to finish when he had been forced to abandon his car with the engine on fire.
So, with five races to go, Nico finds himself with a precious advantage, albeit unexpected, that will keep in any way to be able to win the world title for the first time in his career. An unrepeatable opportunity for the German driver to delete the reputation of “perennial runner-up” that accompanied him in last few years and to equal his father Keke, world champion in 1982.
