Reasons that brought the San Diego Chargers to the collapse in week 3 against the Vikings

1) Poor offensive line: the Chargers o-line has been able to create any holes to run the football and this let their offensive call be so predictable, Barr and Griffen did everything they want off the edges against Dunlap and Flucker in pass situations. This line has no excuses because there aren't any injuries players or missing part of it like last year.

2) Absence of Antonio Gates: Rivers is missing his favorite target, in fact in the 3rd down conversions in his career he went a lot of time to the veteran TE due to his sure hands along with his ability to create miss matches.

3) Rivers' turnovers: the Chargers results 2nd in the infamous ranking of turnovers after 3 weeks second just to the Colts and Rivers has been the main factor of these turnovers with poor passes off targets and a bad gesture of the ball under pressure in the pocket.

4) Bad play calling: it seemed to be returned Turner as head coach due to the few variety of offensive plays along with an extremist conservative view of the passing calls.

5) Total absence of pass rushing: they have this hoes to fill since the departure of Merriman, they failed last 2 years signing a former player like Freeney and this year they continue to ignore that role in free agency, the result has been Bridgewater free without any pressure to pass the ball and do everything he wanted.
