The match started with a minute and a half of study between the two fighters but when the brasilian landed his first kick, an high one right on Hendo's jaw put his rival on huge trouble and aggravated his situation with two right handed pushed on the jaw that threw the american on the ground where in the half guard tried to keep the fight alive defending himself but a furious ground and pound ended it in favor of Belfort who broke the tie in the series with Hendo.
Both fighters came from losses, Belfort against Wideman who is an amazing fighter but Hendo lost badly against medium level fighters something that in past would never happened, his jaw can't support what it was been able to support years ago and the results are KO at the very first hit like happened against Belfort, i think it's time for him to hang the gloves because age is a factor even for a champion like he is!
