This has been the rematch of the 8th of November when Rockhold submitted the British fighter in Sidney, this time the champion defended the title for the first time and did it in his own state of California, the fight started with Lisping aggressive with his boxing and Rockhold has been elusive and answered back with quick but powerful low kicks until 1:27 left in the first round when he the defending champion has been slow to recall his right straight (southpaw guard) and Bisping took advatange of it with a left overhand that stunned the American fighter so the British made what seemed a clinch where he landed another left punch that let Rockhold fell on the ground where he has been finished with 2 straight hooks that gave the title to th 37 years old Bisping and left Rockhold very unhappy with himself.
