The second half started with the boom because Pepe made a silly foul on Torres resulted in a penalty shot that Griezman shot on the crossbar for the desperation of his fans but the same feeling hasn't been part of his team mentality so they started to press high with a way more energy than the first period and it resulted in ball recovered, few of them even became scoring chances, the most important episode of the game has been the Ferreira Carrasco entrance in the game, he provided great energy on pressing along with quality dribblings and a continue treat on the left wing against Marcelo who has been forced to stay on defense more than he usually do. The Real seemed to could close the game out around the 75th minutes when they arrived 3 times face to face with Oblak with and advantage in matter of players but Bale and Vasquez missed them badly and Ferreira Carrasco punished them on the other side 3 minutes later on a Juanfran cross he beat a sleepy Danilo to score the tying goal. With the game tied the Atletico tried more than their rivals to win it but even on overtime the energy were very low and nothing happened until the roulette of the penalty shots where the Real won his "undecima" due to Juanfran mistake who hit the post and thanks to Ronaldo's last penalty who gave the the win.
