MLB: NY Yankees 1 Toronto Blue Jays 4 recap and analysis

After 2 quite innings at the plate for both teams due to the very good starts of Hutchison and Tanaka the Jays took off thanks to a 5 runs 3rd inning opened up by a single and a walk then Reyes put on the bunt that push the ball in the 3rd base zone where Headley missed the assist to 1st base and let 1 run score, Martin singled again in the RF and drove home other 2 runs then Encarnacion clear the bases with a 2 run homer on a belt high missed fastball inside. The following inning Toronto continued to be dangerous on offense putting 2 runners on but this time Tanaka has been good enough to don't allow any runs, on the same inning the Yanks tried a reaction getting on base with Texeira and McCan but none of them reached home plate. In the 6th inning Hutchison made the only big mistake of his game with an high fastball in the middle that Gardner sent it over the wall deep in the RF porch. Unfortunately for NY they didn't score other points and Travis reestablished the 5 points lead for the visitors with an HR on a bad fastball in the middle low part of the strike zone. The Yaks last try took place on the 8th inning where Gregarious has been caught stealing with 2 runners on that end the inning.
This has been such a bad game for the home team on every department and even their ace has been good enough to stop a Toronto team who found some good replacements to cover last year departures.

MVP of the game: Hutchison
