The NFL leading Cowboys with already a ticket for the playoffs visited the New York Giants at the Meadowlands who are in the race for a wild cared spot.The game has started with 10 minutes of domination by the defenses due to very good coverages and winning the battles at the line of scrimmage, this has continued until the third Cowboys' offensive drive where their o-line won like every battle at the line of scrimmage to let Elliott run the ball so effectively until they have arrived 31 yards from the Giants' end zone where Prescott faked a toss from the shotgun passing the ball to the free Terrence Williams who scored the first TD of the game. The home team has tried to react on the following drive with the duo Manning-Beckham Jr. and i has worked out until they arrived at the Dallas' 20 yards where Cedrick Thornton recovered the fumble by Eli Manning. The second quarter has opened up with the third Prescott's interception this season made by Janoris Jenkins but the Cowboys' defense didn't give up any point out of it. Around the middle of the second quarter the visitors' defense has made another great play around midfield sacking Manning, forcing a fumble recovered by Sean Lee to give his team a very good starting field position. Unfortunately for the Cowboys their offense hasn't been able to move the ball so Jones have to comeout on the field to punt the ball. The first half has ended without any further score due to the inconsistent performances by both quarterbacks that have made bad throwing decisions along with unprecises passes, the only scoring chances has come at the very end of the second quarter when Dan Bailey has tried a 55 yards field goal but it has fallen a lil bit short hitting the crossbar.
The first 10 minutes of the second half has been like the first 10 of the first one until the Giants received a punt around midfield where they have started to move the ball, the have done it especially by passes but the third key drop pass of the night by OBJ forced Robbie Gould to kick and make a 39 yards field goal. Dallas' following drive started well but when Prescott has tried to go deep he has got picked off by the veteran Leon Hall who has returned the ball on the 39 yards of New York. The Giants needed just 2 played and 43 seconds to score their first touchdown of the night, they have done it with Beckham Jr who beat every Cowboys' defensive back on a crossing route that has resulted in a 61 yards receiving TD. With 2:13 left in the game Jenkins forced Bryant to fumble the ball and the Giants defense recovered it then Manning and his offense forced the opponents to blow every timeout leaving them just 1:07 with the ball on the 3 yards. Prescott has tried to pass the ball to his receivers but against a prevent cover he hadn't any chance to do it.
