Serie A: Fiorentina 2 Inter 1 recap and analysis

1st Half

The home team had a fast start especially on the first 15 minutes where they had 3 good scoring chances, the biggest one with Ilicic who shot from the middle of the area and beat Handanovic but Telles made an unbelievable safe on a sliding tackle to save the goal, the Fiorentina continue to have the majority of the ball possession with a very inspired Bernardeschi who create so many good things on the left side. When everything seemed in favor of the home team the visitor stroke first with Brozovic very well assisted by Palacio who made a great play on the right side of the goal area. Right from the 26th minute the Fiorentina's rhythm slew down and the only scoring chance they got until the end of the first half has been a Kalinin head shot well stopped by Handanovic.

2nd Half

The rain started to fall on the very hard on the Franchi and the game has been effected by that, after some minutes with a static possession around midfield Valero scored the game tying goal with an head shot in a probable outside position when the Ilicic cross started, since that goal the home team   regain the control of the football and at the 36th minuted of the second half the referee made an awful decision ejecting Telles for double yellow card result of a full contact with the ball, the game changed at that time with Inter playing in 10 and their rivals found the back of the net in a lucky way when at the 91st minute Babakar got a rebound on his favor that let the ball enter in to the net after that Zarate came into the game replacing Ilicic. The game ended with other 2 ejection, one each team, Zarate for the purples and Kondongbia for the team of Milan.

MVP: Palacio
