NHL: ROAD TO THE MVP

After sixty games played during the regular season to the candidates' MVP of it in my opinion were 5, will be listed in ascending order based on factors such as: the statistical impact, the efficiency in the field, the importance of player for the team and constancy.

5 Jeff Carter: the center of the Los Angeles Kings is having a season of high impact for his team counting his 30 goals on 154 total of the Kings, the highest% in the NHL. In a difficult season for the team offensively Californian Carter has played a key role, almost as savior as his way of playing physical and his great skill in wrist shot make him a constant threat to opposing defenses and therefore attracts a lot of attention allowing his companions to have spaces which in other case would not. With 30 third goal throughout the NHL behind only Crosby and Pacioretty in my opinion the most advantaged seen their most prolific offensive game systems.

4 Brent Burns: Right defender with high offensive tendencies and able to play even in the Sharks right winger is having a historic season with regard to the goals scored by a defender, in fact Burns has already reached 27 seasoned for 38 assists, numbers that not seen for almost 30 years. Thanks to these numbers and impressed a key presence on the ice from both the offensive and defensive point that it is no coincidence that since Burns came to produce these numbers the Sharks have made a quantum leap playing though losing a Stanley Cup finals.

3 Patrick Kane: the right wing of the Chicago Blackhawks for a decade a key role in his team and in its many victories this season and also continued the trend recorded so far 24 goals and 41 assists but above driving "the second line" to be one of the best in the NHL as either performance or as talent, since playing at his side Pannarin Anisimov and are making the most of if not beyond their potential, in particular the former center of the Blue Jackets and Rangers seems to express the talent that she had remained unspoken in his previous adventures in the NHL.

2 Connor McDavid: the center class of 1997 Edmonton Oilers is hands down the best future prospect of the alloy and at the same time better in the present and the 71 points (best in the NHL) this season to prove it. The Edmonton Oilers after the departure of the Great One who lived a difficult and this young Canadian after so much time has brought hope to his fans to the sound of results on the ground, as this season the Oilers have 74 points and great chances to arrive to the playoffs. And many merits are certainly at the center in the second year that the NHL leader in assists at an altitude of 50 to prove that he knows very well serve the comrades and improve their game.

1 Sidney Crosby: is the best player after Gretzky was, his immense talent is unquestioned for years and this season is ferrying his Pittsburgh Penguins to another winning season, mainly thanks to his 24 goals that make it a leader in the NHL in this category and a presence on the ice to say the least dominant who together with his class have made the attack of the Penguins the most prolific league with 213 points in the bag. In my view Crosby is the number one candidate to the MVP trophy saw his team's performance (84 points) and the importance he has for it, as well as its ability to change games with a simple thing also played in this season has solved over games for the Penguins.
