UFC 200: Lesnar vs Hunt fight analysis and considerations

T-mobile arenain Las Vegas NV, that has been the place of the return in UFC of Brock Lesnar after 4 and a half years ago since last time he fought, Mark Hunt, the super samoan number 8 in the UFC heavyweight's rankings. Lesnar a pure grappler with an huge background in wrestling and on the other side Hunt who is  a pure striker with a great background in kick boxing, it seemed an old style kind of battle between opposite ways to see the mixed martial arts.
In the first round Lesnar show a great physicallity trying a lot of takedown with nearly the 50% of success something hard against a very good takedown defender like Hunt, once he brought his rival on the ground he dominated him with his ground and pound coming so close to end the match, different story on the second one when his energy camedown a lil bit and Hunt kept Lesnar away with strong punches especially his overhand but in fact he hasn't been able to make any damage. On the third round Lesnar put together the last energy he had and make one of his devastating powerful takedowns to put the match on his territory where he controlled his rival until the end of the fight from the "montada" and the half guard without any trouble.
In my opinion Lesnar won it without any trouble but he needs to have a better cardio if he wants to compete again for the title, i didn't see anything of his striking a part of some jabs to estabilish the distance but in this fight and not just for Lesnar but for everyone is hard to exchange on a pure brawl against Hunt who has heavy hands. On the other side Hunt really shown all his limits and liek against Werdum he shown to have no answers against the grapplers once they bring him to the ground.
