The visitors closed the game out in the 9th when an escalation of mistakes by the entire Nats' pitcher and defense let the Mets score 4 runs off Roark. DeGrom had 8Ks with just 82 pitches due to his great command of breaking balls.
Nationals: they had difficulties to figured out how to hit the breaking balls of DeGrom, that s why they had to wait his first mistake on an hanging slider to Escobar who it a double to lead off the inning, the Mets pitcher reacted well and eliminates 2 batters till Ramos hit an opposite field HR to give his team the lead to continue his great trend against their division rivals. Ross had a good game especially on K/BB ratio. The Nats had huge issues on defense something that they are use to do well.
