NFL: San Diego Chargers vs New England Patriots matchup analysis

In my opinion the biggest matchup of this week, 2 great team will go face to face at Qualcomm Stadium, both teams are hot in this period and both are playing great football in every department of the game. The Pats on offense must attack Chargers secondary especially with play actions after NE's running game would result efficient but they stay away from CB Brandon Flowers who is coming from great performances. Brady should also run more no huddle offense then he usually does because the Chargers defense struggled all season long in that situation and they resulted so vulnerable in short passes inside the numbers. The 2 TEs formation will be the key formation for the Pats to attack the Chargers defense because Gronkowski and Collins are both good in blocking and in receiving too so they will have the perfect balance to be dangerous in both passing and running giving no chance to SD's defense to predict what will happen. Whick RB will belichick let play? none knows it but i think Blount should be the best choice for them with his huge physical skills would force Chargers to play to stop inside runs and will open up big play keeping the safetied away from help their CBs over the top. The Chargers have 4 very good targets for Rivers and even if Revis is playing great especially in 1 on 1 coverage the Pats secondary can't cover all of them even if Logan Ryan will continue to struggle so that's why the Chargers should play more spread formations, Ryan Mathews role will be so important to help keep off the pressure from Rivers and to do that he needs to play tough as he did since he cameback from his injury. The defense of SD needs to play better than they did in Baltimore avoiding stupid panalties and they need to put pressure on Brady without massive blitzes because Brady is good to read them and he ll punish the defense before they ll get him. Rivers needs to play great and against a well coached NE's defense he must change plays alos be clever and patience in passing decisions because Belichick is a master in taking away the confortable situations for every QB he face.
In my opinion this will be an high scoring game nut a very close game that will end: Chargers 41 Patriots 38 with Rivers MVP and Freeney as the X factor of the game.
