MLB World Series 2016 game 3 recap and analysis

Game 3 of the 2016 World Series was played in Wrigley, the old field of the Chicago Cubs from which missing since 1945, when the hosts saw their last chance vanish titled In a tense atmosphere and excitement Kyle Hendricks inizato the game on the mound for his Cubs, Hendricks legitimate candidate to the CY Young award since he had the best ERA of all national league, was put to the test by the attack of the Indians that put runners at the corners forced him to unleash its lethal combo of two-seam fastball and change-up that removed the dish the fearsome Mike Napoli. On the other side, the starter was Josh Tomlin, whose game even though it was not long was to be framed as in 4.2 innings granted just 2 base hits and a base in balls, all thanks to a remarkable balance between fastballs, sliders and change-up. Hendricks still got the same result even if in a much more problematic and thanks to the relief Justin Grimm that in the fifth inning, when Hendricks was replaced leaving the bases loaded Grimm thanks to a series of fine curves balls managed to get a double game who ended the inning. Unfortunately for the Cubs their second relief Edwards Jr, an explosive pitcher with a fastball at 97 mph suffered the first and only point of the game in the seventh inning when with runners at the corners granted right on a fastball thrown in the middle of the plate the single that allowed Coco Crisp to bring home pinch runner Martinez. On the other side of the Indians bullpen was once again perfect, giving something just in the ninth inning when closer Allen has given up a single to Rizzo in the first pitch thrown that heated up the fans who had been led to believe the Cubs could comeback, hope vanished with three eliminations in a row including two for strikeouts through a curve "fast ball" to be combined with a 84 mph fastball around 95 mph which made the task of Zobrist, Contreras and Heyward almost impossible.

Final Score: Cubs 0 Indians 1
