With the series poised on the score of 1-1 the series went from Wrigley Field at Dodgers Stadium where in response to ace of the Cubs and the home team the Dodgers have deployed on the mound Rich Hill, just back from his vintage best career. From the first innings Hill has easily controlled the attack of the Cubs thanks to its two best throws (the fastball and curveball) that have literally blown away both right-handed hitters and those left-handed, his match lasted six innings allowing zero points and six strikeout clearly winning the fight at a distance with Arrieta whose match lasted only five innings allowing four points and two homeruns, one from Grandal who shot a fastball in the middle of the plate and the second by Turner that reading well a chang-up and took home a point ending Arrieta's game. The Dodgers bullpen from the seventh to the ninth inning has made sure of the match thanks to a good performance of Blanton, Dayton and then Jensen who gave a victory to their team without conceding points to take the lead 2-1 in the series, from ' on the other hand the Cubs should have concerns after the second straight game that failed to score points, given that the only one able to take regular basis was Kris Bryant.
