Serie A: Milan 1 Lazio 1 recap and analysis

I travelled to Milan to attend to this game because of the importance of it, in fact it has been the last chance for both team to try to reach their objective, Lazio winning this game should continue to chasing the 6th place occupied by Milan that would mean preliminary of Europa league and for the red and black the chance to catch up Fiorentina or Inter to have a direct enter in the Europa league. 

Both teams are coming from a bad period in matter of results and quality of their games, the start of the match has been a good one with Lazio playing good soccer especially on the wings where Anderson and Candreva have been unstoppable and after just 11 minutes they scored the first goal of the game on a a corner where Parolo shot with his head like a pure striker to beat Donnarumma, Milan's reaction didn't wait to come and few minutes later Luiz Adriano received the ball deep in the Lazio's area and provide a great assist to Bacca who has been left alone  and free to score with a shot on the second post by the not attent defense who continued to struggle. The home team seemed to have more energy than the visitors and this let them have the most of the ball possession for the rest of the game but they had their scoring chances just on Lazio's mistake especially by the defenders, the biggest one has been the Braafhied's one who let Bacca be one on one with Marchetti who made a great save to keep the game tied, on the other side the Lazio continue to be dangerous on counterattacks and the Felipe's Anderson one on the left wing that let him arrive one on one against Donnarumma who made another great stop, on the other side Balotelli who came in for Luiz Adriano served a very good assist to Bacca who shoot sure to score but Patric made an outstanding sliding stop that denied a probable goal, Lazio played last 10 minutes of the game in 10 men due to the ejection of Lulic for double yellow card ( right on the second one but wrong on the first one ) but it didn't prevent the visitor to have the last big scoring chance of the game when they started with the ball at midfield then with quick passes arrived to Djordjevic in the middle of the area who tried to get free to shoot but when he tried to do it Zapata stopped the ball with his arm but the referee didn't give Lazio the penalty shot.

I expected more will to win by Lazio especially in matter of pressing and energy on the field by the way they didn't play bad counting the huge absence of 3 of their 4 defensive starters, on the other side Milan should be so happy for Bacca, Bonaventura and Donnarumma who played so well but there still too many holes to fix in this team before to be contenders fo higher positions.
