NFL: New York Jets 10 Indianapolis Colts 41 recap and analysis

The thirteenth monda night of the season has taken place at the meadowland between the New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts, with the home team out of playoffs race the host tried to get a win to keep their hopes alive. The game started with the Jets quick 3 and out so the Colts got the ball around midfield where Luck started a very good drive made almost by just passes, in particular to Hilton who beat badly Revis on a couple of catches and at the end of it Dwayne Allen catch the first TD pass of the day by Luck alone in the end zone thanks to a very well execute play action fake. The hometeam got the ball back and happened the same as the drive before and the visitors has taken advantage of it extending their lead by other 7 points with another Allen's touchdown taking advantage of a couple of embarrassing Jets' covers that have brought so many booooos from their fans. New York's offensive struggle ended in their first drive of the second quarter when they marched down  field starting from  their own 4 yards, the protagonist has been Matt Forte that got a 40 yards reception on a screen pass that brought his team on the redzone even due to the roughing the passer penalty, once there the Colts defense forced Folk to came out on the field to make 38 yards field goal to put his team on the board. Indianapolis reestablished the 14 points lead on the following drive, a balanced one with a very good run by Gore who despite the age continue to run hard between the tackles, at the end of the drive Vinatieri made a 53 yarder to complete another scoring drive fo this team. Colts' second last drive of the first half has given them other 7 points to extend their lead to 3 full possession, they have been good and patience to keep the balance between runs and passes and this opened up the play action from the shotgun that gave Allen his third receiving TD of the night, this time on a very good back shoulder catch. Trying to cut the deficit Fitzpatrick made an awful mistake throwing the ball right to Butler who picked it off giving his team a chance to extend once more their lead but Doyle vanished it losing the ball inches away from the goaline that resulted in the touchback that ended the first half.

The visitors came out of the locker room with the killer instinct scoring other 7 points on the very first drive of the second half and it has been the first of the night for Moncrief that ended the game i favor of a very good Colts team.

This has been a disastrous loss for the Jets who played an awful game, nothing worked and even Fitzpatrick got benched for Petty but the resulted didn't change, the visitors outplayed them in every department and Bowles position is in jeopardy after the decline of result since last season.
